Overcoming porn addiction:
coaching and therapy for men

IMG_4904.jpg

Many men come to experience their pornography use as problematic at some point. Some speak of porn addiction; others simply notice: “I’ve wanted to stop for a long time—and yet I keep going.”

Perhaps you’ve decided to consume less pornography or to quit altogether. Maybe you’ve had phases of abstinence—only to fall back into old patterns. And perhaps you have the sense that your relationship, your sexuality, or your self-respect are suffering as a result.

If you recognize yourself in this description, you are not alone.

About me: my own personal path — and professional training

I have walked this path myself — the path toward freedom from unwanted porn consumption and other unhelpful behavioral patterns. I spent years living in Buddhist Zen centers, where I experienced a degree of inner freedom I previously could not have imagined. Since then, I have been deeply engaged with the question of how people can access their full capacity for choice and self-direction outside such monastic environments as well. Out of this motivation, I studied a range of psychotherapeutic approaches and integrated them with my own lived experience. To this day, I dedicate two hours each day to meditation practice and spend at least one month every year in silent retreat.

Because of my own experience, I approach men who want to become porn-free with a particular degree of understanding. My work brings together profound personal experience and well-founded therapeutic training.
